What to bring

  • Sun hat, suncream, insect repellant.
  • Swimming gear. There is freshwater swimming to be enjoyed at Le Lac de La Veau Gelade, and Le Lac de Vassiviere has supervised swimming beaches each summer. Both are a short car journey from us.
  • Rainproof coat and some warm layers. Summers are usually gloriously warm. However, we do sometimes have cooler days and evenings. “Le Météo”
  • Walking boots/shoes to enjoy the many walks and trails on the doorstep and beyond. Slippers or thick socks to wear inside the chalet
  • Camera, to capture your golden moments in the unspoilt scenery.
  • Comfortable, loose clothing for Chakradance and meditation sessions.
  • Health insurance. (Remember an up-to-date EHIC if travelling from the UK)
  • Travel insurance.
